10th Annual Rigby Family Reunion

Jackson Hole Wyoming was the setting for our annual family reunion this year. It was beautiful, the weather was great! A great time was had by all. we went to the Alpine slide at the Snow King Resort Saturday morning. We then drove up into Teton National Park and had lunch at Jenny Lake. We closed out the day with dinner at the Bar J ranch. The show was wonderful as always and some of us that were outside with little kids that were restless got to see a fox that came to pick up any food that was left outside. We went to church Sunday morning and then had our washer toss competition. It was a great weekend! Thanks to Grandma Rigby for making it possible!

Katy in "The little Mermaid"

Katy took part in the musical "The Little Mermaid" Saturday in Richfield. Tryouts were Monday and about 60 elementary school children learned their parts in one week. They sang songs and new all their parts. Katy practiced hard all week and Nolan, Paula, Paige, and Grandma Great came down to see her. It was great. All the kids did a wonderful job. Here are some pictures from the big day.

Winter FUN!

The Collin and Rachel Fawcett Family was is Ephraim for New Years. We decided that it would be fun to show the kids how we used to have fun when I was younger. We took some of my mom's old sleighs down west of town and pulled the kids behind the truck. They loved it! Thomas especially enjoyed being outside with the cold air in his face. Abby got dumped right away and didn't want to ride anymore but Madelyn and Katy were troopers. They both stayed out the entire time. Both Collin and I took turns riding and video taping the fun. Here are a few pictures from our fun day.

Katy Gets Baptized

Trip to Disney World

I'm not going to go into details here, but this is just to let you know that we had a very enjoyable trip to Disney World with Grandma and Grandpa Fawcett and Aunt Paige. Grandma Paula takes 8 kids on the Train?!

Friday May 30th Grandma Paula, Libby and Rachel took their 8 kids on the Front Runner to SLC. It was lots of fun and the kids had a great time. It took us about 20 minutes to ride from Latyon to SLC. There we went to the Clark Planetarium and played in the water at the gateway. Grandpa, Nathan, and Paige all joined us at the Gateway Center. We had dinner then Grandma and Paige drove home in Paige's car while the rest of us went and waited for the train. Unfortunately, the train doesn't run every half hour after 6pm. Only once an hour so we had a bit of a wait. The kids were tired and the parents were worn out. But we finally made it home about 10pm. Grandma, Paige, Giggles, and Collin were all waiting at the station for us. It was a great day!

Memorial Day in Yellowstone

Don't worry Bryce, you weren't the only one that missed out on the annual Memorial Day breakfast at Grandma's. Instead, Aless and I took his grandparents and aunt and cousin to Yellowstone. It was a fast trip, but well worth it. Not even the rain and snow kept us from having a good time. Aless's family was amazed at the beauty and awesomeness of this one of a kind creation! Now I need another weekend just to recover from all the driving I did in 3 days!

After breakfast we all went to the cemetary to put flowers at Grandpa's grave. Grandma stayed in the van because of the rain but the rest of us jumped out for a picture.

Memorial Day Breakfast at Grandma's house

Well it was wet and cold, but we still all made it to Grandma's for our Memorial Day breakfast. We did have all the tables set up out on the lawn like we usually do but we woke up to rain, rain, and more rain. So the dads quickly moved everything to the garage and we just huddled up together and had a great breakfast together.

The Fawcett's Fight the Goblins

Hello everybody how are you all doing? We are doing well. Three weeks ago the Fawcett Family went to Goblin Valley State Park. We had a great time climbing rocks and exploring all the exciting caves and secret passageways. We took Nathan and Libby's dog le-lo with us and she had a great time. She put us all to shame by running up and down the rocks that we all labored to climb. We hiked all day and then drove back to Richfield by way of Capitol Reef. There we hiked the capitol gorge and took lots of cool pictures.
